Monsieur Roger Vivier opened his first boutique on rue Royale in Paris in 1937. He was the creator of the first stiletto heel in the 1950s and designed extravagant, luxuriously embellished shoes which he described as sculptures. Not only did he design the shoes Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II wore in 1953 on her coronation day, he also crafted acclaimed creations for the greatest personalities of his times. Today, Roger Vivier continues supporting the talent and excellence of outstanding women.
